I love London. It’s a wonderful city and when the sun is shining and you can just wander around aimlessly it welcomes you and invites you to look down the street you’ve never walked down before or sit in that tiny garden you’ve never seen before. People fall in love and want to stay forever. Alas time and tide carry people away but some couples are clever enough to have a farewell to London photoshoot and that’s exactly what I get to show you today from Victoria Phipps Photography.
Victoria was commissioned by Hailey and Andrew to capture images of them with London. They are about to move home to Canada to be married but wanted something special to remind them of the time they’ve spent in the UK. They chose a fabulous day for the shoot. The sun was shining and London looked so handsome in it’s soft glow. The three of them met on Westminster Bridge and just meandered their way, slowly, towards Trafalgar Square.
I love the shots. Iconic but intimate. They show the beautiful tapestry of London but Hailey and Andrew really bring a warmth and happiness. They really make me smile. I think my favourite is the one where they are sitting on the bench looking at the Houses of Parliament. It makes me think one day perhaps a grandchild will come back and sit on that very same bench with their future spouse. Constant and inspiring.
