I’ve been thinking about this ring from Yoon Jung Yun for a while. I think I’ve finally decided that it is quite beautiful. It’s not a brand but a sweet reminder. A secret reminder. I may moan about wearing a wedding ring but sometimes you just have to wear one!
Rather lovelily* priced too,from $120 for sterling silver and run to $780 for gold.
The designer speaks about her inspiration.
“A few years ago a Korean singer wrote a song about the sunburn mark that he found on his finger after he broke up with his girlfriend and removed a ring he had been wearing for a long time.
Imagine that your lover giving you a ring that on the surface seems plain, but later when you take the ring off; it says, “Marry me.” Or imagine that even though you take off the ring to clean your hands you are still wearing an impression of the words, ’always’.”
