The image.

I think I’m going to try out my new favourite quotation from Roland Barthes around here.

“What the public wants is the image of passion, not passion itself.”

Or is he too cynical? Is true passion so difficult to find? He produced, arguably, one of the most fascinating works on photography – perhaps by accident.

Is this passion or just the image of passion?

I would say passion. I would urge you to search out such a image in your life.

Enjoy an image a day.
