Well today Jonas Peterson, yes Jonas Peterson is doing something a little different. He’s asked bloggers to blog a new wedding at the same time as him. To join together, cut out the rejection (who could reject him!?) and unite with the love.
Cheree and Mitchell decided to have two weddings, one in Sydney (where they live) and one in Cape Town two weeks later. Mitchell’s family is Maltese, but lives in Sydney, but most of Cheree’s family still live in Cape Town, South Africa, so for them it felt natural to have two weddings, so that everyone important got to share the joy. (I have a serious soft spot for Malta. It’s one of my most favourite places in the world.)
I didn’t have time to talk to the bride or groom so the images will just have to speak for themselves. And speak for themselves they do. Jonas deals with weddings that are all about the love but also embody space and uniqueness. Oh to have such emotive pictures to gaze upon from time to time.
Space, yes the space makes me incredibly happy.
To begin we have the wedding in South Africa.
This image.
I adore.
And now we move to Australia.
Yes the details matter and I am no photographer but the sense of scale Jonas brings is just phenomenal. It’s all about the love for him.
