The worth of value

Whilst the whole issue of potentially being called a bridez***a by a supplier or the general use of the word makes me angry there is another facet to this issue.

(I promise I wasn’t a bad bride)

The way suppliers are oft viewed by the general public.

I hear both sides of the story and whilst I agree suppliers must, must, must offer a decent service, they are more than just a service.

I love good small companies. Love them. Their passion for their clients is delicious, their innovation is second to none and well they are just exciting to work with.

However I think that sometimes they we forget that these tiny companies are just one person. That we aren’t their only client, they live and breathe their work and that perhaps we send one too many an email.

At the same time, perhaps we are a little too demanding and think we don’t get value for money from suppliers big or small. So I’m asking lovely suppliers big and small, anonymously and publicly to talk about a week in their life.

For example, your photographer doesn’t just come to your wedding take some photos and sit around for the next 6 weeks until you get your images.  I promise you they do more!

I just want you to see how much time people really spend when you pass over your money. The people you need to invest in are very much worth their money and I want to show you why.

Oh and if you are a supplier who would like to contribute, whether anonymously or not I would love to hear from you too.

So the “the worth of value” is coming. I want to show you where your supplier’s time goes and how they look after you. Because I promise they do. (Well at least the ones you should care about!).
