We may not be the biggest wedding blog out there but for every sponsor we (I) accept there are a good three or four who just don’t make the cut. I like that I have my own standards and I like when my expectations are blown.

I love it when people truly love what they do. Their enthusiasm is infectious and a joy to behold. If you can’t find the love in the person then I truly believe you won’t see the love in the image.

So today I get to introduce you to Tracy Weston Photography.

“Weddings.  Wedding photography.  Gosh I love it.  I can spend days of my life flicking through the wonderfully captured memories of couples’ special days.

The photograph of the bride’s sister crying as she sees her for the first time; the groom’s nervous hands clenched waiting for his girl to arrive and them to start their amazing journey.

For me, to capture these moments is a true honour.  I get to go on such an amazing journey with my couples, and I feel so blessed to be part of their days.  I love to capture the things that people don’t always see; how the day really was.  The thought of the couple going through their photographs after their honeymoon and seeing the bits they’ve missed literally gives me goosebumps.  Everytime.

As a “photographer”, I am the girl with a camera desperately trying not to be the “photographer”.  I want to be a long lost friend, or perhaps a distant cousin that no one quite remembers.  I’m relaxed, but organised. Excitable but ordered. My photographs will show every aspect of a wedding as it happened, and not how I want it to happen.

If you’re looking for a photographer who you could go on a long walk with, put the world to rights with then that’s me.  I’m your future friend, and I can’t wait to meet you.”

Yes, let Tracy Weston fills your heart with joy.

Introducing Storry Photography

This is a sponsored post. It may be paid for but the words are our own. Our integrity is, of course, everything. If we didn’t believe in their product/service then this post wouldn’t be on this wedding blog and we’d be a little bit poorer. Enjoy.

So today I get to introduce you to Storry Photography.

I could probably leave you with that sentence and this image (for it is awesome) but perhaps I should let them tell you a little about themselves too.

Although the image probably will have made you happy and want to book them as your wedding photographers already! (There is something mesmerizing about that image.)

“One of the things that makes Storry Photography special is that we’re a husband  and wife team, so we work exceptionally well together. Photographer Aaron shoots the weddings, while Lindsay manages the office.

We’ve been in your shoes and we know how important it is to make the right  choice when it comes to deciding who will capture your big day on camera. Because we’ve been there ourselves, we understand exactly what you’re going through in the run-up to your wedding – not to mention the nerves you’ll probably be feeling on the big day! We’ve found that this helps us to establish a rapport with the bride and groom that enables us to document all the emotions the happy couple experience during this magical day in their life together.

Our aim is to help you relax and enjoy yourselves, safe in the knowledge that we’re creating a priceless record of your special day.

They have truly captured some beautiful moments. Go on, let Storry Photography capture yours too.

Introducing the wonderful Vintage Styler

This is a sponsored post. It may be paid for but the words are our own. Our integrity is, of course, everything. If we didn’t believe in their product/service then this post wouldn’t be on this wedding blog and we’d be a little bit poorer. Enjoy.

In case you weren’t the lucky winner of the Vintage Styler‘s competition – oh check here just in case you are, here is Amy to tell you a little more about her amazing shop. Honestly, some of the prettiest treasures I’ve seen!

“I’m Amy and I run Vintage Styler – a treasure trove of vintage and vintage inspired wedding accessories from a carefully selected range of designers. Having worked as a bridal makeup artist and hair stylist for around 8 years, I decided in 2010 to make the move into accessories using the experience and knowledge I gained from working with bridal hair. I have a passion for gorgeous vintage accessories, jewellery, and most of all a passion for weddings! Vintage Styler was born based on this, and I feel has come to be a truly gorgeous boutique full of inspiration for your big day.

We encourage brides to give us a call, get in touch on email or on Facebook or Twitter if they have any questions or would like any styling advice, we are always happy to help out and have a natter about all things wedding! “

Just look at the images Amy sent me, aren’t they stunning. I know that you can look as fabulous!

Love the elegant updo highlighted with a little sparkle.

A birdcage for the ceremony and just sparkles for after.

I quite wish I’d worn something a little more epic on my wedding day. At least there will always be more parties!

Oh to be married once again!

So fly and see what amazing pretties you can find at the Vintage Styler. I know you’ll find something you love. And if you happen to pop to see the Vintage Styler’s facebook page too, you might be in for a seriously good surprise.

Introducing Anissa Lee

This is a sponsored post. It may be paid for but the words are our own. Our integrity is, of course, everything. If we didn’t believe in their product/service then this post wouldn’t be on this wedding blog and we’d be a little bit poorer. Enjoy.

Today some papery pretties from the rather lovely Anissa Lee.

From papercuts to fabulous paper accessories and for the exceptionally daring bride wonderfully creative paper dresses.

I love it when people use unexpected materials to create something so traditional. Just look at that cute little headband below!

And I am rather enthralled by the papercut bows!

Now, I could waffle on about these beauties all day but I think Anissa explains things a little better!

Anissa Lee is an artist/designer who specialises in hand cut paper creations. She cuts the pieces freehand using a scalpel and scissors resulting in unique pieces in her own recognisable style perfect to add a different and special touch to your wedding day.

There are few limits on what she can create from the perfect item to wear/accessorise with whether that is a floral headpiece, bouquet, jewellery or outfit. You might want to decorate your venue with bunting, table confetti, framed illustrations for the tables and centre pieces or have beautiful and unique wedding stationary. Having paper flowers as your centrepieces/bouquet is a great way to make the magic of the special day last longer for yourself and others by then being able to keep them in your house to enjoy for longer without them fading away.

For most of her work Anissa uses a synthetic paper which is water resistant and durable meaning that you do not have to worry about your beautiful accessory getting ruined and they will all last with appropriate care taken, although she is also happy to work with other paper requested and has recently created a bouquet from sheet music.

Inspiration for a lot of her designs comes from literature including Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Charles Dicken’s Great Expectations but she is more than happy to work to any theme that is desired.”

As well as making custom orders she also creates ready to buy pieces that are available on her Etsy shop.

More work can be viewed at www.anissalee.com and you can follow her on twitter @anissaleeartist.

Go on, enjoy some paper love.
