As always some of my choices and recommendations will be far from the wedding crowd!

Oh ladies (and gents), I’ve had an exciting start to the week.

The White Gallery beckons but once a year and this year I am rather impressed.

There are few people who are able to are able to get me seated in Battersea at 10am on a Sunday but luckily Stewart Parvin is certainly one who has that ability! Whilst the music wasn’t perfect the following dresses certainly were.

Are you a classic bride with a fashion twist? These are the dresses for you. I adore the way his designs are distinctly timeless yet so modern.

Just click to see the delicious images!

Are you getting married over the next few days with snow all around?

My bestest best advice.

Order a pair of wellingtons now.

Beg, borrow or buy some. Whatever you do, have wellies!

I really needed them and you probably will too.

I bought mine from Hunter the day before and they arrived just in time. You can too!

Sure they aren’t the most stylish but it does mean you can get some epic outdoor images.

So I think there might be a few sore heads this morning! I hope no-one was blown away. Did you have fun at Oh My Honey‘s Party?

From the tweets and pictures that appeared in my feed I think a rather wonderful time was had by all!

And along with my lovely blogger friends Bijou BrideSo You’re Getting Married and Marry Me Ink we are sharing a few more images for today’s finale! We are all sharing different images so do go and see the other pretties on the other blogs.

I’m rather in love with the images I get to show you today!

Oh yes, I get to show you my favourite dress from Oh My Honey’s 2013 bridal collection, Rebekah.

Oh Rebekah with your feathers and beading. The raw silk is so pretty. And did I mention the feathers? Oh yes you pretty little feathers!

And also I really want to be bold enough to have lilac hair!

They may be gerberas but I forgive them, just this once! They are heart shaped after all!

Were you at the party? Which was your favourite dress on the catwalk?

time to party with oh my honey

So a couple of weeks ago I spoke about a little party happening this week.

The party is to debut the delicious new collection for 2013 from Oh My Honey and well I get to show you a treat today. I get to show you 2 of the new dresses before they are seen on the catwalk. Along with 3 other bloggers, Bijou Bride, So You’re Getting Married and Marry Me Ink I am revealing a little of the collection before the party on Thursday. The lovely Bijou Bride is taking over from me at 1oam tomorrow.

Each day you’ll get to see a little more and whilst these two dresses are rather lovely, there are some delicious dresses coming over the next few days!

Luckily, we start with a beauty. A beauty called Peggy. Just look at those fabulous sleeves. (Yes I am a sleeve lover!) This is the fitted dress of the collection made with duchess satin and the layered lace sleeves. It shows off your curves with a boned bodice and you can wear the prettiest of shoes with it too!

And then we move onto Sylvia (perhaps one of my favourite names). A fabulous double layered dress made with silk organza embroidered with ivory polka dots and duchess satin. I am a serious sucker for a polka dot and rather regret not going for a dotty look on my wedding day. Oh look at the cute ice blue bow made from duchess satin!

Which is your favourite so far?

And don’t forget there is still a party to be had this Thursday in Brighton. The night is exclusively invite only with a majority of the guests being wedding industry experts and soon to be brides. If you would like to attend the event and be one of the first to see the new bridal collection then please email info@ohmyhoney.co.uk to be added to the guestlist. I wish I could be there, it does sound like it’s going to be a seriously fun night!

Now remember to pop over to Bijou Bride tomorrow at 10am to see another two dresses from the collection. They are seriously good!

I know it’s not advent yet but..

..I am in love with this advent calendar.  Ahem, hint, hint Bean! This is an advent calendar I can get on board with. Usually we go with chocolate ones but I know it’s usually Bean who ends up eating them. I’m just not a fan of the chocolate.

However, if I could receive this little beauty I think I would be smiling, nay grinning, until Christmas. So please, please, please, let me, get what I want! (Lord knows it wouldn’t be the first time – I’ll admit that!)

What do you think? It’s sold out on the Selfridges website. (And they are updating their website now!) So we shall see!
